About & Disclaimer

Forgotten & Creepy Cemeteries is a local history and preservation project focused on documenting old, forgotten, and often overlooked burial grounds.

Many of the cemeteries featured on this site date back to the 1800s and exist along rural roads, wooded areas, farmland, or locations where towns and highways later developed. These places are often missed, undocumented, or slowly fading from memory.

This site exists to preserve awareness of these locations and the history surrounding them before they are lost entirely.

About the Stories Shared Here

Some pages on this site include local stories, family oral histories, or personal accounts associated with certain cemeteries or locations.

These stories are clearly presented as:

  • Personal experiences
  • Family oral history
  • Local folklore passed down through generations

They are shared respectfully and without exaggeration. This site does not claim proof of paranormal activity.

Locations are shared in a general manner to preserve history while avoiding harm or misuse.

Purpose of This Project

Forgotten & Creepy Cemeteries exists to document places that history has largely overlooked. Not to sensationalize them — but to acknowledge their presence, their past, and the people buried there.

If you have historical information or respectful stories to share, you may contact the site owner using the Contact page.
